...that 100% of ALL families at MGIS buy groceries!
Yes, the Scrip committee did an informal survey and discovered this; however,
we were disappointed to learn that less than 10% of all MGIS families use Scrip
to buy their groceries. The good news is this 10% earns MGIS about $200 a week.
Now take a minute to, in the words of a famous musician, “ Imagine”… what we could be
earning if 20, 30 or 50% of all families used Scrip. $500, $1000, $2000 each week!!!!
Scrip is simple:
• You buy and pay $25 for a Gift Card for Piggly
Wiggly, Pick n Save, Wal-Mart or many more retailers.
• The PTA pays between $20 and $24.50 for the
card, keeping between 20% and 2% of that $25.
• You receive a Gift Card worth $25 to buy your
groceries or other household supplies.
• MGIS students receive support for field trips, art
supplies and many other PTA sponsored activities!
When can you buy Scrip?
Online:
Anytime! MGIS Enrollment Code: 7176D2LD19477
(orders placed by Wednesday are available for
pick up the following Wednesday or Thursday)
In person:
Wednesdays & Thursdays 3:30-4:30, March 14th PTA
Meeting or Parent Teacher Conferences
March18th and 20th
If you don’t come to school on a regular basis,
alternative ordering/pick up options are available.
