Multicultural Night is a time to get acquainted with the people and culture of other countries. My goal has been to expose students to all the world's continents, so in the past six years, we've done Austria, Brazil, Japan, Ghana, Mexico and Nigeria. I try to feature authentic dance, music, story, information and food. It's great because the Milwaukee area has so many people from different ethnic groups. Having students do worksheets is an attempt to educate them a little before they come to Multicultural Night because an hour plus is not a lot of time to learn about another nation and its people.
