Be a part of the PTA!
If someone is available and willing to volunteer it is always welcomed and appreciated, but being a member of the Milwaukee German Immersion School PTA does not mean you have to volunteer. Being a member means you support what our PTA does for our school and, more importantly, our children.
Here are some of the PTA functions we do each year for our children:

- Assemblies
- Battle of the Books
- Birthday Club
- Black History Month
- Grill Fest
- Ice Cream Social
- Kinderkino
- Laternennacht
- Multi-Cultural Night
- MGIS Spirit Wear (proceeds used to pay for events)
- Musical Instruments
- Playground Equipment
- PTA pays a portion for each student to reduce field trip fees
- RIF
- Rollschuhabend
- and more
