How much are Membership Dues?
Membership dues are $6.00 per person annually. (This includes $5.25 which goes to the State and National PTAs)
When does a PTA Membership begin and end?
PTA Memberships are good for only one year beginning July 1st and ending June 30th of the next
year.
Do I have to volunteer if I am a member?
The PTA appreciates everyone’s membership, whether or not the member volunteers, because each member increases PTA’s ability to advocate for children. It’s true that PTA cannot operate without
volunteers, but volunteering is just that... voluntary. We will ask for volunteers, but in no way do we require anyone to volunteer.
If I join the PTA will it have a positive impact and/or benefit my child(ren)?
“Yes!” Decades’ worth of research shows that when parents are involved, students perform better in school. They receive higher grades and test scores, have better school attendance and lower rates of suspension, are more likely to graduate high school, and are more likely to pursue postsecondary education. Children of involved parents also exhibit increased motivation, better self-esteem, less drug and alcohol use, and fewer instances of violent behavior. Those great benefits come from parent involvement, a major focus of PTA.
How do I become a member?
We make every effort to ensure becomming a member is as easy and convenient as possible. The following are ways to join:

We make every effort to ensure becomming a member is as easy and convenient as possible. The following are ways to join:
- Complete a membership form found on the counter in the school office. Place the form and the dues in an envelope (also located on the counter in the office). Write PTA Membership on the envelope and place in the PTA basket found by the Teacher Mailboxes in the school office.
- Complete a membership form found in the Bug Botschaft (PTA Newsletter) which is currently sent home bi-Monthly. Place the form and the dues in an envelope. Write PTA Membership on the envelope and send with your child to school. The teacher will handle getting the information to the PTA.
- Sign up at the PTA table located at virtually every PTA function/Event at school.
