Laternennacht is a favorite tradition in Germany and here at MGIS. It is simply wonderful to see and hear. All MGIS families and friends are invited to attend this celebration of music, light, and thanksgiving.
We will start outside on the playground singing German songs. Children should remain with their parents and should be respectful during this event! Weather permitting, we will stroll through the park carrying our lit lanterns. Remember - dress for the weather! If there should be inclement weather; we wiill parade indorrs through the school halls. There will be treats at the end for all who participate.
