From the PTA President… Erika Conner
Dear Parents, Teachers and Staff Members,
In February, the movie “How to Train Your Dragon” was a big hit at Kinderkino. Some families even went to both showings.
In March we look forward to Multicultural Night on March 15. Come and learn about Nigeria
and sample some authentic Nigerian food! This will also be Katherine Riebe’s last year in Chairing Multicultural Night. Thank you Katerine for all your dedication in planning this event 6 years. We also look forward to having Lynn Woehrle chair this event next year.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be March 18 and March 20 from 5pm to 8pm. Watch for forms to come home with your child so you can sign up. Also our Spring Fundraiser forms were sent home.
We are selling Alterra Coffee and Heidi’s Strudel.
Mark your calendar, our next PTA meeting will be March 14 at 6:30pm.
Be a part of the PTA! Make plans now to get involved at school. We currently have openings
available for several PTA committee chair/co-chair positions for 2013-14. If you aren’t ready to chair a committee, please consider being a co-chair. We are looking for members in these volunteer areas: parent volunteer, fundraising and student & community enrichment. Don’t forget to order your tickets to the annual GIF Silent Auction on Saturday, April 13.
